Call for presentations

Please note that we are not accepting new submissions at this time. We will keep our call for presentations here for reference.

We are thrilled to invite researchers from the aging community to present at our upcoming workshop on Bioinformatics in Ageing Research. This symposium will provide an exceptional platform to share and discuss the latest advances, challenges, and opportunities in the intersection of bioinformatics and aging research.

We are pleased to announce that distinguished experts Eline Slagboom, Claudio Franceschi, and Markus Schosserer have already confirmed their participation as speakers. They will also be presenting at the Main Meeting, the 11th Ageing Meeting in Halle.

Our aim is to bring together both seasoned scientists and newcomers to foster a collaborative environment. We strongly believe that personal involvement and motivation are equally vital to the perceived relevance of research. Thus, if you have valuable insights to share, we encourage you to seize this opportunity to present your work among a diverse and welcoming audience.

We encourage brief and interactive presentations that stimulate discussions and collaborations among attendees. If you have encountered unexpected challenges during your analyses or while planning your experiments, we would be particularly interested in hearing about them. Please submit an abstract describing your work, including a short title and your preferred presentation length (5, 10, or 20 minutes).

The submission deadline is July 21, 2023. To submit your abstract or if you have any questions, please email us at bioinfo@med.uni-rostock.de. We aim to contact you by August 1, 2023, to confirm the acceptance of your presentation and discuss further details. The workshop program, including speakers, presentation titles, and abstracts, will be made available on our website.

We look forward to your contributions and to an engaging symposium!

Kind Regards
Elias Projahn, Steffen Möller, and Georg Fuellen
